The Democratic Republic of Congo will host its first international exhibition of industry and technological innovation in May of this year. The announcement was made by the Minister in charge of Industry, Julien Paluku Kahongya this Wednesday, February 24, 2021 in Kinshasa, during a press conference.

The holding of this first exhibition will put industry and technological innovations at the forefront of the international scene, with a view to reviving the image of the Democratic Republic of Congo and present the industrial opportunities that the country offers.

Julien Paluku revealed that the success of this show will enable the creation of the national school of industrial trades and technologies to provide investors with a qualified local workforce. The Minister of Industry also added that it will be a question of creating a one-stop shop for the collection of taxes in the industrial sector based on African models, notably Tunisia and Algeria.

This first International Exhibition of Industry and Technological Innovation (RDC2021) will bring together more than 5,000 participants and will take place over 3 three days.
