Regarding the disorder at Kinshasa’s general hospital (ex-Mama Yemo), national deputies are demanding clear explanations from Kinshasa city governor Gentiny Ngobila Mbaka and health minister Etenu Longondo. The two personalities are expected on Tuesday, February 23 in parliament.

At the head of this initiative, the national deputies Eliezier Tambwe, Ados Ndombasi, Charlotte Masiala and Auguy Kalonji want to examine this issue from top to bottom in the presence of the trade union delegation of Maman Yemo. The aim is to find a lasting solution to this issue.

On Monday 22 February, the national elected representatives and representatives of Kinois at the national assembly exchanged views with the governor of the city in his office. The latter also suggested that they refer the matter to the outgoing Prime Minister, Sylvestre Ilunkamba.

Before going to the town hall, these elected representatives consulted separately with the Minister of Health and the trade union delegation of Mama Yemo.
