Four outboard motors were swept away by the Ugandan incivilities. As a reminder, four Congolese fishermen have been languishing in the central prison of Katwe in Uganda for more than a year and the information in our possession tells us that they will be released on 11 March, » he said.

The noteworthy indicates that the lake boundaries are still at the root of the mesatentes between the Congolese fishermen and the Ugandan navy. Rutshuru’s notables are calling on the government to regulate fishing in the waters of Lake Edouard to put an end to this situation.
