At least seven bodies of civilians were discovered on Monday 22 February 2021 in Musandaba, one of the villages in the Beni Mbau sector in Beni territory in North Kivu.
According to sources on the spot, these civilians were killed by the Ugandan rebels of the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) on Sunday, February 21, 2021.
The information is confirmed by the NGO-DH Convention for the Respect of Human Rights (CRDH) Oicha branch.
Patrick MUKOHE, permanent secretary of this human rights structure, says that the bodies were abducted from fields by brave young people before being taken to the morgue of the Oicha general hospital.
The CRDH deplores this situation and asks the military authorities to take into consideration alerts provided to them by the population.
It also asks the population to be vigilant and to denounce all suspicious cases.
